Maintenance Technician
About the Role
- Maintain the safety, appearance, and
functionality of our facilities and grounds - Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs
- Maintain landscaping and properties across multiple funeral home locations
- Handle seasonal property maintenance and facility inspections
- Help ensure our locations remain clean, sate, and welcoming for the families and communities we serve
What You'll Do
- Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance and repairs
- Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, and other building systems
- Maintain landscaping, parking lots, sidewalks, and exterior property areas
- Handle seasonal maintenance, including snow and leaf removal
- Operate and maintain landscaping, maintenance, and facility equipment
- Inspect facilities, address safety concerns, and coordinate repairs or improvement projects
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, landscaping, or a related field preferred
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general maintenance practices
- Ability to safely operate landscaping and maintenance equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
